We don't charge design fees or project minimums and we supply first quality goods at retail pricing.

What is the Boxwood Brand Library?

The Boxwood Brand Library is a collection of designer brands available exclusively to the trade. As a "to-the-trade" purcashing partner, we can purchase products from these brands on your behalf.


Use the Boxwood Brand Library to find something you can't live without. Gather all the details (brand, pattern, colorway) and come back to us for samples, pricing, yardage, and customization. It's that easy!

How large are samples memos?

Fabric
Sample memos typically measure around 5" x 5" or 8" x 8", depending on the fabric or material being sampled. These sizes are large enough to showcase the color, texture, and pattern of the material while being small enough to handle easily. Some suppliers may offer custom sizes upon request, especially for larger patterns or specific needs.


Trim

Trim samples typically come in smaller sizes, often around 2" to 4" in length. These samples are designed to showcase the texture, color, and design of the trim, allowing you to visualize how it will work with other fabrics without needing a large piece. This size also makes it easier to compare different trim options side by side.


Wallpaper

Sample memos for wallpaper are typically larger than fabric samples to better showcase the pattern and design. They often measure around 8" x 10" to 11" x 17". This size allows for a clearer representation of how the wallpaper will look on a larger scale while still being manageable.


All sample memos ship direclty from the manufacturer.

What it is your order minimum?

We don't have an order minimum. However, certain manufacturers and certain products have larger minimums as specified on each product page. 


What happens if my product is backordered?

Behind the Boxwood processes your payment at the time your order is placed to secure your order with the brand. Behind the Boxwood will notify you if your order is backordered. If a product is backordered, it can be cancelled any time before shipment. Once an order has shipped, it can not be canceled.

What is a performance fabric?

A performance fabric is a specialized textile crafted to endure frequent use and facilitate easy maintenance. While highly effective, please note that no fabric is entirely immune to damage or stains. 

Can I purchase a gift card?

Yes!  Gift cards are delivered via email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees or expiration dates.

Do you keep any fabric, trim or wallpaper in stock?

We do not keep any product in stock. Everything ships directly from the vendor. That being said, many of our vendors are able to ship within 24 hours. If you're in a rush, email us and we'll do our best to make the magic happen.

Maybe, it depends on the width of your fabric and the width of the curtain. The good news is you probably won't even notice them. Our workroom is that good.

Do your pillows come with inserts?

It's your choice. You may choose to order a pillow cover or a pillow cover + insert. 


What size pillow insert do you recommend for my pillow?

We recommend an insert that is 2" LARGER than the pillow cover as the pillow will appear smaller when it is stuffed inside the cover. For example, a 20" pillow would look best with a 22" insert. 


Can custom pillows be used outside?

Yes, but we recommend using an indoor/outdoor fabric with an indoor/outdoor insert.

How do I care for my pillow covers?

We recommend using a high-quality dry cleaner to prevent fading and shrinkage.  


Can I use my own material for custom pillows?

SHIPPING


The cost of shipping varies based on the shipment type and location. Sample memos always ship free.


All shipments are FOB warehouse. If your package gets lost in transit we will do everything possible to assist you. We are not responsible for packages once they have left the warehouse.


If your package requires a signature, we are not responsible for any charges incurred for refused packages, and/or packages requiring signatures that were not picked up from access points in a timely manner. In the case a package is refused and/or returned to us, the fees to re-ship the original package will be invoiced to the customer.


We do not deliver to PO Boxes, Army Post Office (APO) addresses, or Fleet Post Office (FPO) addresses. Entering one of these address types will delay your order.


RETURNS


Everything we sell is custom and therefore final sale. Products are non-returnable / non-refundable. We cannot accept exchanges. We strongly encourage you to order a sample memo before purchasing yardage to ensure the product meets your requirements. 


The customer has 7 days to inspect the goods and notify Behind the Boxwood of any visible defects or non-conformity. If during the 7 days, the customer does not inform Behind the Boxwood, in writing, of any visible defects or non-conformity, or the customer uses or resells the goods, or the customer fails to inspect the goods, it shall be concluded that the goods delivered were conforming.


Please note that slight color variations may occur between different production runs of the same item. Each dye lot is a unique batch, and even when dyed consecutively, no two batches will be exactly the same. Variations in yarn base or processing can also result in subtle differences in color, making each piece distinct. We cannot be responsible for dyelot variations. We are always happy to check dye lot availability for follow up orders.
